Dying Pit Bull Barely Hanging On To Life Lost All Hope. Then Kids Found Him Just In Time

When the kids found the lifeless dog, they called for help. Humane Police Officer, Russ Harper, who works for Justice Rescue answered the call. The pit bull he found was cold, not a good sign for any living creature – Harper actually thought the dog had died. The poor thing was barely clinging to life.

Harper rushed the dog to Keystone Veterinary Emergency Clinic located in Havertown, PA. The dog, now named Remi, was covered in bite marks. It is very likely that Remi had been bait dog used to train dogs to fight.

Once he was no longer needed, the cruel people just dumped him. Remi has made some improvements but isn’t out of danger yet.

There is a $1,000 reward being offered by Justice Rescue for anyone with information that leads to the arrest of the people responsible for Remi’s condition. No dog should be forced to fight – or be mistreated like Remi.

People can report any information about this particular case anonymously to abuse@justice-rescue.com. Dog fighting is illegal and a felony in all 50 states, and it should not be allowed to continue.

According to the ASPCA, fighting dogs are raised in isolation and live their lives on the end of a short, heavy chain. Many dogs are given steroids or drugs to make them aggressive and more muscled.

Please be on the lookout and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. Visit aspca.org for information about what to look for and how to report suspicious activities. Most importantly, do not put yourself in harm’s way! Share away, people.
