George Jones Dedicates “If I Could Hear My Mother Pray Again” to Mom
In an interview with The 11th Hour Magazine, Jones revealed that his first musical experience was performing in church with his mom. His mom was a devout Christian. Also, she played the piano in their local church. Thus, she always invited Jones with her whenever she had rehearsals.
The relationship of Jones to his mother was incredible. Hence, his version of the song was more of emotional and meaningful. Obviously, we now know from whom Jones got his amazing talent and voice.
